Game client
The links below provide the current server files. Extract the package you download into an empty folder; we recommend not installing it under Program Files.
Launcher and login flow
The normal flow works like this: the launcher opens, finishes updating the files and the Start button becomes active.

Extract the package
Extract the archive you downloaded into a folder whose path has no special characters. Example: C:\TestSro

Run the launcher
Open the launcher file in your install folder. Windows may show a security warning the first time; make sure you are running the file from the folder you downloaded it to.

Wait for the update
The launcher compares your files with the server version and downloads the missing ones. Do not close the window until the progress bar completes.

Enter with Start
When the update is done, the Start button becomes active. Once the game opens, log in with the username and password you created on the site.
Open the game through silkroad.exe. The launcher downloads the required updates automatically. If you are using an older client, first extract the TestSro Updater package from this page into your game folder.

You log in to the game with the account you create on the site.

The launcher does not open
Extract the archive fully into a folder, then open silkroad.exe. If the error continues, share the on-screen message with support.
The update does not progress
Check your internet connection and reopen the launcher. If you see a security warning or an error, save the message and share it with support.
The game opens but login fails
Type your username and password exactly as they are on your site account. Login may be closed while the server is under maintenance.
The problem continues
For open beta reports, use the channel shared with the staff; attaching a screenshot of the error message speeds up the fix.

Make room on your disk for the archive and the extracted game files together.
